Emergency declared as houses, roads flooded in Serbia

Heavy rain and flooding have forced the authorities to declare an emergency situation in the Cacak, Lucani and Arilje municipalities in Serbia. At least 15 people have been evacuated after River Cemernica broke its banks in Preljine near Cacak, Balkan Insight reported quoting Emergency Situations Sector chief Predrag Maric.

SCARY! Mysterious craters spotted at the Serbian 'end of the world'

At least seven suspicious craters have been spotted in Serbia including five of them in a region known as the "end of the world". "We know now of seven craters in the Arctic area with five are directly on the Yamal peninsula, one in Yamal Autonomous district, and one is on the north of the Krasnoyarsk region, near the Taimyr peninsula, " The Serbia Times has written quoting Vasily Bogoyavlensky, deputy director of Russia's Oil and Gas Research Institute.

Light earthquake shakes Kosovo, Serbia today

M 4.0 light earthquake shakes Serbia today, Seismological Survey of Serbia reported. According to the Seismological Survey of Serbia, the quake's epicenter lies in Peć (Pejë) city in western Kosovo. It was 6.2 miles deep.

Worst flooding in 120 years in Bosnia and Serbia kill 20

Record flooding in the Balkans has claimed lives of at least 20 people in Serbia and Bosnia and forced tens of thousands to flee their homes. It is believed to be the worst flooding since records began 120 years ago, The Associated Press has reported quoting Goran Mihajlovic from Serbia’s Weather Center. Flooding in Bosnia and Herzegovina claimed lives of 12 people. In Serbia, more than 15,000 people have been evacuated from the flood-hit regions. At least 8 people died in Serbia. The Sava river burst its banks in towns to the west of Belgrade, the capital and largest city of Serbia. European Union countries have sent equipment and emergency crews in flood disaster areas. Flooding in Romania kills 4, emergency declared in Serbia

Flooding in Romania has claimed life of  at least four people including a child and left two others missing. Natural calamity occurred in Teleorman county where more than 85 villages have been affected. A state of emergency has been declared due to recent flooding in 11 municipalities in Serbia. Tornado in Serbia damages more than 100 buildings

Tornado in Serbia has damaged more than 100 buildings. Tornado hit the Torda village in the Žitište municipality of Serbia, B92 mentions. Tornado in Serbia ripped off roofs and knocked down trees.
