Honduras landslide kills 6 children, injures 2 others

Landslide in La Chicharronera village of Honduras has claimed lives of at least six children and injured two others Wednesday night. Landslide engulfed two houses claiming the lives of children between one and nine years old, Reuters reported. Two other children have been injured in the incident and are having treatment at a local hospital, emergency officials said. One of them is said to be in serious condition. Earthquake in San Pedro Sula, Honduras

People of Arizona, San Antonio, Atenas de San Cristobal, La Masica and Santa Ana will have felt moderate shaking of MMI V. People of Yoro, La Ceiba, San Pedro Sula, Roatan, Juticalpa, Tegucigalpa, La Ceiba, El Progreso and Belize will have felt light to weak shaking. The 2009 Honduras earthquake claimed seven lives and was even felt in Guatemala, El Salvador and Belize.
