Fatalities are reported from Utah, Kansas, Iowa, Wisconsin and Nebraska. -The Weather Channel said around 27 centimetres of snow covered parts of Wisconsin, with around 20 centimetres in Omaha, Nebraska. -Snowstorm canceled more than 600 flights at Chicago's two airports, O'Hare and Midway. Southwest Airlines, United Airlines and American Airlines also canceled their flights. -Most major roads across Iowa remained closed due to snow and ice buildup. -Many schools across Nebraska and Iowa were closed. Final exams at University of Wisconsin at Madison was also  canceled.
